Job description

**Multi-Site Role**
Summary Description:
Syntiant Corp., a leader in the high-growth AI software and semiconductor solutions space, is looking for an experienced and talented Electronics Engineering Technician to take on a critical role with expansive responsibilities to enhance the Quality function in a growing organization.
The Electronics Engineering Technician will support the Reliability Lab in the development and execution of reliability and development tests for all of Syntiant's products. This individual will work within a Quality team environment to achieve Syntiant's quality goals.
Requirements
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prior Reliability Lab experience is a big plus.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Electronic Equipment Expertise (Oscilloscope, DMM, Power Supply, Stress test equipment such as Thermal Chambers, tumble etc..).
  • Maintenance of and troubleshooting of Electronic Test Equipment.
  • Assist the Reliability Engineer in the development of tests and test fixtures.
  • Procurement of components, test equipment, and Lab supplies.
  • Develop and write detailed step by step work Instructions for the Reliability Lab.
  • Perform Gage studies.
  • Ability to train other technicians.
  • Mechanical Aptitude is a must.
  • Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to Multitask and excellent Organization Skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite 2010 or newer.
  • Skilled in Windows 7 and XP OS.
  • LabView experience is a plus.
  • Must be willing and able to drive between 3 company sites as needed.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience Required:
  • Minimum Associate degree in Engineering technology or similar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze circuit diagrams.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.
  • Focused attention to detail and timely follow up ability.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines.
  • Past work experience in acoustics is preferred.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting hourly pay for this role is targeted to be between $25.00 - $35.00. Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to previous experience and skills acquired prior to joining Syntiant, cost of living in the assigned work location, assigned schedule, and salaries of similarly situated peers at the company. It is to be expected that candidates will come to us with different sets of skills and experiences and therefore will be paid at different points in the stated range.
