The Role

We are seeking a Certified Millwright to join our P&H Milling team. This role is responsible for conducting routine preventative maintenance, service, repair, and maintenance of plant and facilities equipment in a safe and efficient working manner. Maintaining the safety and reliability of machineries and equipment is critical in achieving optimal production efficiency of the plant operations and production.

Day to Day
  • Assemble, align, dismantle and position stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications.
  • Inspect, diagnose and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.
  • Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, feeler gauges etc.
  • Troubleshooting any issues with hydraulic systems.
  • Perform general facility maintenance.
  • Participate in fumigation/heat treatment. Note: working in higher temperatures is involved during fumigation.
  • Complete and comply with all health, safety and food safety training relating to the job.
  • Ability to complete fall arrest, forklift, telehandler, and scissor lift training.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Candidates who are certified Millwrights or are currently registered as a 3rd-year apprentice (or above) will be considered.
  • Welding and fabrication experience
  • Able to work in dusty, hot, and outdoor environments
  • Knowledge of quality control and BRCGS standards
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 25 kg
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Available for on-call work depending on business need
