Electrical Superintendent-Data Center

IES Commercial, Inc. โ€“ DBA IES Electrical, seeking full-time Electrical Superintendent-Data Center in Lithia Springs, Georgia.

Job Summary

  • Plan, supervise, and direct the personnel involved in the installation of electrical systems in order to ensure the work is performed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Maintain a culture of safety and quality first.
  • Have a complete understanding of the project design, drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
  • Work in conjunction with the Project Management Team on material and equipment buyouts, schedules, labor, and tracking.
  • Monitors quality of workmanship on the project and ensures compliance with the project and company standards.
  • Evaluates, mentors, and trains field supervision and tradesmen.
  • Performs takeoffs and pricing for change orders and project related work.
  • Evaluates productivity and schedules and makes the adjustments required to optimize efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Current State Electrical Journeyman License or 4 year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or licensed journeyman experience.
  • 10+ years experience in electrical construction supervision, technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures.
  • Experience working with technical industrial, pharmaceutical, or data center environments.
  • Hyperscale data center experience preferred.
  • Experience with $20M-$100M electrical projects preferred.
  • OSHA 30 or ability to obtain
  • Understanding of construction and labor scheduling, cost control, and ability to control and supervise large groups.
  • Ability to perform takeoffs and pricing for changes orders and related project work.
  • Excellent computer, communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check.
