WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
The Consumer Product & Innovation Design Engineering team develops 2D and 3D tools to enable virtual digital product creation. Our unique team brings together people from VFX, games, visualization, and more to transform the design and visualization process.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for an engineering manager who can lead, coach, and inspire a team of engineers. This role both manages people and the technical output of the team. We want someone with a background in software engineering who has experience in the delivery of visual output, whether it be games, film, simulation, or equivalent expertise.
  • Experience leading teams in a highly matrixed environment.
  • 3 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
  • 7+ years' experience in technology & software engineering roles.
  • 7+ years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • Extensive expertise in computer graphics.
  • Experience with 3D tools (Adobe Substance 3D, Blender, Unreal, Unity), visualization, game development.
  • Experience developing tools for artists or creators.
  • Experience working in cross-functional domains.
  • Experience driving process improvement within the Agile development framework.
  • Experience with CI/CD software deployment process.
  • Must excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on the ability to collaborate with others.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
You will be part of a leading a team of engineers building out tooling for our Enterprise facing applications that are part of Nike's Design domain. We are developing 2D and 3D focused tools for virtual production creation and visualization, as well as supporting the related workflows. You will:
