Job Description 

TITLE: Data Coordinator 

FULL-TIME: 40 hours, weekly Mon-Fri 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 

JOB SUMMARY: Data Coordinator supports our school's data management and reporting needs by collecting, organizing, analyzing, and reporting student and school-related data. This is needed to support informed decision-making, compliance, and continuous improvement. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assign and maintain student assessments to determine placement. Create Google and Edgenuity accounts for all staff and students. 

  • Evaluate and maintain the test scores. 

  • Compile and mail quarterly report cards/progress reports and testing documents. 

  • Work with Detention staff to acquire daily rosters and create an accurate daily attendance sheet for teachers and staff. 

  • Compile and manage detailed student, staff, and school performance data from various sources such as attendance records, assessments, surveys, and state reporting systems. 

  • Maintain and keep updated student data in the student information system to ensure accuracy and integrity. 

  • Assist in analyzing trends to support curriculum planning, resource allocation, and school involvement initiatives. 

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal data reporting requirements. 

  • Provide training and support to staff on data entry, reporting tools, and best practices. 

  • Work with school leadership to identify key data needs and develop customized reporting solutions. 

  • Maintain an inventory of office supplies. Make sure everything is stocked and organized. 

  • The point of contact for all DRP-related questions, issues, and support. Monitor integrity errors and assist if needed. 

  • Assist in school records' retention and destruction. 

  • Attend informational meetings and or training courses with stakeholders such as PowerSchool.  

  • Maintains specialized databases, inputs and retrieves data, and produces computer reports. 

  • Provide detailed student data information to the appropriate staff. 

  • Prepare a 301 report for the teachers. 

  • Track and maintain a list of all tax credit donations with budget and teachers' teaching credentials. 

  • Treasurer for social committee. 

  • May perform other duties assigned by the administration staff. 

  • Assist with creating/ verifying and approving district transcripts. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 2 years' experience working with school data systems (PowerSchool and Edgenuity preferred) 

  • Communicate professionally and work successfully with many constituents and representatives from external agencies.  

  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 

  • Knowledge of educational policies, reporting standards, and compliance requirements. 

  • Excellent communication and ability to present data insights to non-technical audiences. 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with school staff and administrators.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS UPON HIRE: 

  • Possession or ability to obtain a valid driver's license. 

  • Ability to pass a background and fingerprint clearance at the Pima County Juvenile Courts Detention Center. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bilingual in Spanish.Â
