Job description

Company Description
(www.lso-inc.com) is in North Orange County in the city of Brea, California. Life Science Outsourcing, Inc (LSO) is a contract manufacturer of medical devices with in-built capabilities to offer clients full-service solutions through our six divisions. Clients rely on LSO to perform all activities required to introduce their products to market, from sourcing to drop shipping.
Be the first checkpoint for materials that become life-changing medical devices.
Life Science Outsourcing (LSO) is a trusted contract manufacturing partner to the medical device industry, providing manufacturing, assembly, packaging, and sterilization solutions in an FDA-registered, ISO 13485 certified environment. As our Warehouse Receiving Coordinator in Brea, California, you will be the front door of our supply chain, making sure every component that enters our facility is verified, documented, and traceable before it ever reaches production. The accuracy of your work directly protects product quality and patient safety.
You will thrive here if you take pride in precision, enjoy keeping a busy dock organized and moving, and understand that in a regulated environment, the paperwork matters just as much as the pallet. If you want your warehouse experience to count for something bigger, this role puts you at the center of it.
We encourage you to submit a resume with salary requirements.
Job Description
What You'll Do
As Warehouse Receiving Coordinator, you will own the dock-to-stock process for incoming materials:
Receiving and Verification
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments and verify quantities, part numbers, and lot numbers against purchase orders.
  • Check shipments for damage, correct labeling, and required documentation such as certificates of conformance.
  • Resolve receiving discrepancies quickly by working with Purchasing and suppliers.

Inventory and Material Flow
  • Process receipts in our ERP system and route materials to quarantine, incoming inspection, or stock.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, lot traceability, and organized storage locations.
  • Support cycle counts and physical inventories, and help investigate discrepancies.

Quality and Compliance
  • Complete receiving records in real time following Good Documentation Practices.
  • Follow SOPs governing material handling in our FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485 certified facility.
  • Identify, segregate, and document nonconforming or damaged materials.

Teamwork and Coordination
  • Communicate receipt status and material availability to Purchasing, Planning, Quality, and Production.
  • Partner with Incoming Inspection to prioritize urgent materials for production.
  • Pitch in on shipping, kitting, and other warehouse functions during peak periods.

Safety
  • Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely following training and certification.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and aligned with 5S and site safety standards.

Qualifications
What You Bring
Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse receiving, inventory control, or materials handling.
  • Hands-on experience processing receipts and transactions in an ERP or WMS system.
  • Strong attention to detail verifying part numbers, quantities, lots, and documentation.
  • Solid computer skills, including transaction entry, email, and basic Excel.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Mindset and Impact
  • You follow written procedures precisely and understand why documentation matters in a regulated industry.
  • You stay organized and keep priorities straight when the dock gets busy.
  • You communicate clearly across teams and flag problems early instead of letting them slide.
  • You take ownership of your area and hold a high standard for accuracy and housekeeping.

Compensation
The expected pay range for this position is [$XX.XX to $XX.XX per hour] depending on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. LSO reviews compensation regularly and offers competitive pay aligned with market benchmarks for the Brea, California area.
Why Join LSO?
  • Do work that matters: the materials you receive become finished medical devices that improve and save lives.
  • Build regulated-industry expertise in an FDA-registered, ISO 13485 certified facility, a credential that travels with your career.
  • Join a stable, growing company serving leading medical device innovators.
  • Work with a collaborative team where warehouse, quality, and production partner daily.
  • Grow your skills through cross-training in inspection, inventory control, and shipping.

Work Environment
  • Warehouse and receiving dock environment with material handling equipment traffic.
  • Regular lifting up to 50 pounds; standing, walking, bending, and reaching for most of the shift.
  • Safety shoes required in warehouse areas; additional PPE for specific tasks.
  • Occasional gowned entry into controlled or production areas.
  • Full-time, on-site, standard day shift with occasional overtime during peak periods and inventories.

Make an Impact
Every device we ship starts at your dock. When you verify a lot number, catch a discrepancy, or keep a receipt audit-ready, you are protecting the patients who depend on the products LSO helps bring to market. If you are ready to bring three or more years of warehouse expertise to a role where precision truly matters, we want to hear from you. Apply today and help us deliver quality from the very first touchpoint.

All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
