As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Driver in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Residential, and more. As a Security Officer, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols at commercial real estate and residential locations, helping to deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for residents, tenants, visitors, and staff. You will maintain a visible presence, monitor access points, document security-related activities, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position reflects Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture, delivered through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential and commercial property areas, including building exteriors, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations.
  • Monitor for unusual activity, property conditions, and policy violations, then document observations and report concerns according to site procedures.
  • Assist with access control, visitor inquiries, and directions while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Guard card is required.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
