  • Maintain transaction and status checklists for a growing Corporate/Finance practice, including matters involving bank clients.
  • Conduct Secretary of State searches, coordinate lien searches with vendors, and gather relevant business entity and transaction information.
  • Prepare and coordinate the filing of UCC financing statements, amendments, and terminations with Secretaries of State.
  • Prepare standard transaction documents using established forms and templates.
  • Assemble, review, and organize closing documents, signature packets, and closing binders for completeness and accuracy.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, vendors, and internal team members through oral and written communications.

Qualifications:

  • While not required, 1-3 years of experience in the legal field, primarily as a Corporate Paralegal
  • Proficient in Word, PDF, Excel, and DocuSign
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Proactive and able to take ownership of work product.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • North Carolina State Bar Qualified Paralegal Certificate Program preferred.
