Position Summary
The Production Associate executes and supports production environments across GFC, ensuring audio, video, lighting, and online experiences are clear, consistent, and distraction-free. This role carries primary responsibility for day-to-day production systems, weekend execution, and volunteer support while helping implement the vision set by the Director of Production.
Primary Position Responsibilities
Production Environments
  • Lead execution of audio, video, lighting, and presentation for weekend services and events
  • Ensure environments are clear, consistent, and aligned with production standards
  • Support and help oversee online campus and broadcast execution
  • Partner with Worship, Creative, and Communications to deliver aligned services

Systems and Service Readiness
  • Maintain and troubleshoot AVL and broadcast systems across campuses
  • Ensure systems are service-ready for weekends and key events
  • Manage system setup, testing, and optimization
  • Maintain clear documentation, organization, and workflows

Technical Excellence
  • Operate and oversee live production systems across audio, video, and lighting
  • Support digital audio, routing, presentation, and broadcast systems (e.g., consoles, DSPs, switching, presentation software)
  • Help ensure consistent audio and visual quality across all environments
  • Support installs, upgrades, and campus expansion projects

Volunteer Leadership and Culture
  • Train, schedule, and develop volunteers across production roles
  • Provide clear direction during services and events
  • Serve as a primary point of troubleshooting and escalation
  • Model a culture of ownership, teamwork, and spiritual maturity

Candidate Criteria
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting ability across live production environments
  • Organized, proactive, and able to take ownership of responsibilities
  • Calm and decisive in fast-paced, live environments
  • Able to lead volunteers with clarity and care
  • Heart for ministry and creating environments where people can engage with Jesus

Education and Experience
  • 3 to 5+ years experience in live production, AVL, or broadcast environments
  • Working knowledge of audio, video, and lighting systems in live settings
  • Familiarity with digital audio, presentation, and broadcast tools
  • Experience leading or coordinating volunteer teams preferred
  • Experience with systems such as Dante audio networking, digital consoles, DSP platforms, broadcast switching (e.g., ATEM), presentation software, and lighting systems preferred.

Working Hours and Conditions
Business Hours/Exceptions
This position is full time with various hours, including evenings and weekends as required by ministry needs. Additional hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required during designated all-church events, including Christmas, Easter, and Fall Launch.

Church office and worship environments; fast paced, team-oriented ministry setting
Travel Requirements
Occasional offsite meetings and periodic travel for training, conferences, professional development, or multi/campus support may be required.
