What We Need From You Job Duties and Requirements:

  • 3-year Flat rate technician experience
  • Knowledge and ability to use IDS and FDRS diagnostic tools
  • You must be an elite communicator as you will communicate with the customer, and any and all Ricart automotive employees
  • Door-to-door outside sales
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Diesel performance and engine repair
  • Gas performance and engine repair
  • EV Diagnosis and repair (willing to train)
  • Complete MPI inspection for customers, including estimates and explanation
  • Test drive vehicles with customers to evaluate noise, driveability, and vibration concerns
  • Repair vehicles based on diagnosis and customer requests
  • Test drive vehicles after repairs have been completed to ensure customers' complaints have been resolved.
  • File appropriate dealership and manufacturer-required documentation on each repair
  • Keep up to date on all manufacturer information and training
  • Return the vehicle to the appropriate location, ensuring the vehicle is locked, numbered location is updated, and wiped off/cleaned accordingly.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with less than 9 points to remain insurable and able to drive on company property

  • Diesel experience preferred
  • Must be able to work in varying climates
  • Must be able to lift 75lbs
  • Must maintain a professional appearance in customer-facing positions
