Robinson Enterprises is seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician to join our service team in Nevada City, California. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who takes pride in delivering quality work and is committed to keeping our fleet operating safely and efficiently.

As a Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician, you will play a critical role in maximizing fleet uptime by performing expert diagnostics, complex repairs, and preventative maintenance on a wide range of commercial trucks and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and heavy equipment, ensuring optimal engine performance and drivability.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and complete mechanical repairs.
  • Conduct full-cycle engine, transmission, and drivetrain overhauls.
  • Utilize advanced computer diagnostic software to accurately identify mechanical and electrical failures.
  • Troubleshoot complex engine, electrical, hydraulic, and driveline issues.
  • Perform DOT and BIT inspections.
  • Maintain accurate repair records and complete work orders.
  • Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician.
