Our client is a global leader in the Packaging Solutions domain, specializing in innovative and sustainable folding carton and specialty packaging products. They serve diverse sectors, including food, pharmaceutical, and consumer goods, with a steadfast commitment to safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Die Cutter Operator responsible for operating and maintaining offline die cutting equipment to produce high-quality folding carton packaging. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and experience in make-ready operations and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation & Production: Operate offline die cutting machines (including blanking-capable equipment); perform machine setup, make-ready adjustments, and production monitoring.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with specifications; identify/correct defects and adhere to ISO, cGMP, and HACCP standards.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform minor maintenance and adjustments on equipment to resolve operational issues and minimize downtime.
  • Team & Communication: Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and maintain a safe, cooperative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of offline die cutting experience in the folding carton industry.
  • Preferred Equipment: Experience with Cleveland or Bobst die cutters.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical troubleshooting, mathematical proficiency (weights, measurements, percentages), and ability to perform make-ready operations.
