Job description

Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Full-Time Denture Technician to join our dental laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete fabrication, repair, modification, and finishing of full and partial dentures to the highest standards of quality, precision, and aesthetics. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical ability, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting production deadlines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture complete and partial dentures from start to finish.
  • Set denture teeth to achieve optimal aesthetics, function, and occlusion.
  • Process, flask, pack, and finish acrylic dentures.
  • Perform repairs, relines, rebases, and additions to existing dentures.
  • Fabricate custom trays, bite blocks, nightguards, and special trays.
  • Finish and polish dentures to a high standard.
  • Read and interpret prescriptions from dentists and prosthodontists.
  • Ensure all work complies with quality assurance standards and laboratory protocols.
  • Maintain accurate case records and production schedules.
  • Operate and maintain dental laboratory equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with clinicians and laboratory staff to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Keep current with new materials, techniques, and technologies in removable prosthetics.
  • May require standing for extended periods and working with precision instruments.

Requirements:

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a fully skilled Denture Technician. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of removable prosthodontics and denture fabrication. 
  • Ability to independently complete all stages of denture fabrication. 
  • Strong understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and esthetics. 
  • Experience using dental laboratory equipment, materials, and techniques. 
  • Excellent manual dexterity with strong attention to detail. 
  • Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple cases, and meet deadlines. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Commitment to producing high-quality, accurate restorations.
