The position of Clinical Informatics Pharmacist is the primary subject matter expert for pharmacy-related applications. The Clinical Informatics Pharmacist will actively contribute to the design, development, building, implementation, analysis, support, and ongoing maintenance of all aspects of all pharmacy-related clinical information systems and computerized pharmacy systems, software and hardware.
This individual provides technical support to the application and provides an analysis of system requirements and specifications. The Clinical Informatics Pharmacist for Clinical Systems applications provides the necessary experience and knowledge to ensure that all aspects of the Clinical Application integrate with the other cross functional applications utilized by the organization. They will leverage their clinical expertise and lead opportunities to aid in the delivery of quality patient care across the UHealth System. This person must work effectively in a team environment, have relevant clinical experience and be able to serve as a liaison between U-Chart, Clinical Services, Pharmacy, and other departments.
