Full Time Delivery Driver - Afternoon/Evenings - Chick-fil-A Newport

This is a full time position. Hours for this position are between 2pm and 9:30pm.

At Chick-fil-A, we believe that working with us is more than just a job - it's an opportunity to be part of a positive and people-focused environment. As a Delivery Driver Team Member, you will play a crucial role in upholding our high standards of presentation, service, and care. You will have the chance to be a brand ambassador, representing Chick-fil-A with excellence both inside and outside of the restaurant.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

  • Drivers are expected to collaborate with our team. This position is not an independent or solo driving role.
  • Drivers are required to wear a Chick-fil-A uniform (provided by the restaurant) and non-slip shoes (provided by the Team Member).
  • Drivers are expected to deliver Chick-fil-A Mobile orders, Catering orders, and driving to perform misc. tasks as needed.
  • Drivers are required to use Chick-fil-A provided vehicles. No personal vehicles may be used for deliveries.
  • Drivers must demonstrate Chick-fil-A values and hospitality at the highest level.
  • Drivers must ensure customer satisfaction by upholding our expectations during deliveries.
  • Drivers are expected to serve in the restaurant as a part of the team when they are not delivering orders
  • Drivers must execute safe driving practices with a sense of urgency
  • Perform other assigned duties

Compensation:

  • Drivers earn $11/hour base rate + tips (Average hourly rate is between $16-$17/hour)
  • Drivers keep 100% of tips earned
  • Drivers received a bi-weekly paycheck and a W2

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a working smartphone with data plan and GPS
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and clean driving record (no accidents, DUI/DWIs in the last two years, no moving violations, speeding tickets in the last year)
  • Must maintain a clean driving record
  • Ability to carry delivery tote bags (approximately 30-50 lbs)
