Job description

DESCRIPTION
Positional Summary:
The Procurement Business Intelligence Analyst supports the development and continuous improvement of procurement analytics, reporting, process automation, and data management capabilities. Working closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Information Technology teams, this role transforms data into actionable insights that improve business performance and decision-making. This position offers an opportunity to develop expertise in business intelligence, automation technologies, project management, and procurement processes within a global manufacturing environment.
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Develop and maintain procurement dashboards, scorecards, and reports using Power BI and other tools.
  • Analyze procurement, supplier, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support development of automated reporting and workflows using Power Platform and related technologies.
  • Assist in improving data quality, reporting consistency, supplier data management, and system integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and automation.
  • Support strategic procurement initiatives, including End-of-Life (EOL) management, supplier data integration, and reporting modernization projects.
  • Prepare and present analyses, project updates, and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
  • Participate in project planning, tracking, and implementation, while developing project management skills.
  • Receive mentorship and development opportunities in BI analytics, automation, and procurement processes.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • One (1) to Three (3) years of experience in analytics, business systems, supply chain, procurement, operations, engineering, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, analyses, or process documentation.
  • Experience participating in cross-functional projects, process improvement activities, or continuous improvement initiatives, and/or lean six sigma activities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to learn new technologies, systems, and business processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Exposure to Power BI, Power Platform, SQL, SAP, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Exposure to procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, finance, or operations environments.
  • Experience with ERP systems, business intelligence tools, or data management environments.
