Job Description

This is a Data Analyst role reporting to Data Architect in Boston MA. 

Work on Client migration (on boarding) Projects as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst responsible for Business Requirements document clearly articulating the data requirements, data analysis, data gaps, Standard Out bounds (Extracts, Interactive Views, Client Reports), Custom Out bounds 

Coordination with US /UK/India Project teams and third-party vendors or SSC Business units and the Clients

Requirements Analysis, Data Flows, Data Mapping exercise to the source systems

Flexibility to work in UK/India time zones (when required)

Train new resources


Qualifications

At least 6 Yrs of Total IT experience

Min 2 Yrs of experience in working as a Data Analyst / Database Developer

 Data Modelling experience; Process Modelling, Data Flow documentation

Query Optimization Techniques

Financial Services back ground is a must

Good understanding of middle office services - a plus

 Proficient in SQL; Data Modelling; Basic Java Programming

Data Mapping, Identification of the right source for the standard out bounds, elimination of data redundancies, Data Profiling, Traceability

Data Quality, creating control scripts to identify data quality issues thru the operational control framework ;Data Management 

Work closely with Business Users, Development Team and the BUAT Team on any assignment

State Street IMS application experience - Desirable
