About the Role:
The Sr. Data Analyst will support program offices by serving as a key liaison for data collection, submission, and quality assurance within a Palantir/Fault (Foundry)-based data platform. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to conduct basic analysis of budget, resources, and personnel data. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with technical systems, providing user support, and has some programming experience or familiarity to aid in troubleshooting and data integration activities.
Role & Responsibilities:
  • Provide data and analytical technical expertise to support Resource Management Plan (spend plans) submission, monitoring and analysis in support of the Program Manager for federal Financial Management Systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of various federal financial and personnel data systems like FBIS, UFMS, EHCM, and other data systems used to monitor and provide oversight to government agency budget and spending.
  • Leverage technical knowledge, training, and other skills to develop and contribute to team projects.
  • Pursues and incorporates skills and knowledge by working alongside fellow team members, sharing expertise and learning.
  • Develop and present findings, analysis, reports, and other work products in ways that are clear, concise, and compelling to relevant audiences and stakeholders.
  • Use visualization techniques appropriate to support and enhance understanding.
  • Ensures that work products are easily accessible, documents work and maintains a coherent record of past work.
  • Collaborates with internal and external customers to ensure projects and activities meet agency leadership expectations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for assigned program offices regarding data submission requirements, timelines, and platform-related expectations.
  • Communicate and document data needs, submission statuses, and outstanding actions.
  • Facilitate regular check-ins with program office point of contact to ensure smooth data collection and address questions or barriers.
  • Collect, review, and validate budgetary, resource, and personnel data from program offices for completeness.
  • Provide hands-on assistance to program offices using the Palantir/Foundry-based platform for submitting and updating data.

Required Professional Skills:
  • Experience with data platforms, data entry systems, or analytics tools; exposure to Palantir/Foundry, FBIS, UFMS, EHCM is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial, resource, and personnel data.
  • Basic familiarity with programming concepts (Python, SQL, or similar preferred).
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills; able to clearly explain technical processes to non-technical users.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks across diverse stakeholders.

Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in data, information systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in data analysis, operations support, data coordination, or similar functions.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working in federal government or federal contracting environments.
