Data Entry / Material Control Clerk
Location: San Fernando Valley, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM plus over time
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Position Type: Full-Time/Temp to Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter and maintain material, inventory, and receiving information in the system.
  • Record purchase orders, work orders, material movements, and inventory transactions.
  • Review data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal procedures.
  • Update inventory levels and assist with tracking shortages, discrepancies, or missing materials.
  • File and maintain packing slips, material records, receiving documents, and related paperwork.
  • Communicate with receiving, production, and purchasing teams to help resolve data or inventory issues.
  • Perform routine audits, updates, and corrections to help maintain accurate system records.
  • Support the material control department with general clerical and administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Previous data entry experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Good organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time onsite.
