The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years have expanded throughout the Midwest. Job SummaryThe Data Entry department will accurately input data into a billing system for accounts receivable purposes and assist customers in our walk-in counter. Hours and WagesMonday-Friday, 7:00AM-4:00PM$18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experienceDuties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare and open walk-in counter dailyGreet and assist customers with parcels for shipmentUtilize hand-held pad to enter packages for pick up or inbound scansAccurately enter package information into billing system using the 10-key portion of a keyboard as well as a desk top scannerInteract with customers via telephone and email regarding questions concerning their daily shipping paperworkBalance and count cash drawer dailySort billing sheets into numerical order Perform other related duties as assignedSkills and AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracy Work requires basic computer knowledge and customer service skillsEducation and ExperienceAt least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredClerical or administrative experience preferredPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and answering the phoneMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at timesAbility to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animalsBenefitsHealth Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), Employee Assistance Program, 401(k) Plan, Quarterly Bonuses, and more.EEO and Affirmative Action StatementSpee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
