Job description

Description

This is going to be a minimum of a 1 year Data Center Build out. Looking for individuals that can work inside and outside building out the data centers. Looking for hard working individuals. Hours Monday- Friday 6:45am-3:45am (but might change to 10 hour shifts)

Cable Tech 1

Pull cable

Assist Tech 2

Run and handle materials

Utilize hand/ power tools

Climb ladders

Layout and install wireway, buss duct, cable tray, switches receptacles and other devices

Will build closets (Mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware). Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required. Complete all IDC connections (e.g. terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels).

Pulls wire and/or oversees and directs conduit installations and wire pulling.

Operates tools/equipment, normally requiring the use of two hands (examples: cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.)

Going to first hire techs from the Temple area (40 mile radius) must be willing to travel to another site in Ohio or Iowa for 3-6 weeks for training. $50/day per diem.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Assisting with the installation of low-voltage cabling systems
  • Pulling, routing, and dressing cable throughout the facility

Paid Training Opportunity Before Project Start

Before the Belton project kicks off in early October, selected candidates will be sent to another active site for 4-6 weeks of paid training on a similar data center project.
