Position Summary
As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will contribute to our Cyber Security Team. This role will help us achieve a world-class security posture to protect critical assets for the company and its customers.
You will be relied on by your teammates and co-workers as a technical contributor with a focus on analyzing security alerts and coordinating remediation. Your primary goal is to protect Life Time's customers, systems, and data from internal and external threats. You will be building processes and tooling to gain visibility and respond to alerts and vulnerabilities. You will be working to prevent potential security incidents and respond quickly and thoroughly in the event an incident occurs. You will be an advocate for the Security team, evangelizing best practices throughout the company. This will be a hybrid weekly in-office schedule.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Analyze and escalate events from security toolsets (Endpoint, IDR, MDR, etc.)
  • Help with processes around Vulnerability Management, Security Posture Assessments, and Alerting
  • Assist Security Engineers with maintaining toolsets as needed
  • Develop and deploy security tooling, policies, automations, and processes
  • Participate in incident response activities as an incident responder, a subject matter expert, and/or a liaison to technology and business teams
  • Contribute to the development of security policies, standards, and playbooks
  • Evangelize security at all levels of the organization

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Ability to analyze alerts and data from multiple sources to identify security events
  • Demonstrated ability of analytical expertise, close attention to detail, critical thinking, and logic
  • Understanding of basic Security Concepts (Vulnerability Management, Endpoint Protection, etc.)
  • Ability to research technical challenges and learn quickly to assist security engineers in providing security guidance to other technical teams
  • Familiarity with compliance regulations (IE PCI)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Understanding of one or more security frameworks (OWASP, PCI, NIST, MITRE, etc.)
  • Ability to participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security or equivalent experience

Years of Experience:
  • 4+ year(s) of experience in a technical role

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:
  • n/a

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in a security role

Pay
This is a salaried position starting at $78,000.00(or applicable minimum salary, if higher) and pays up to $107,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.
