Vehicle Wrap Installer -- Custom & Commercial (Experienced)

Big Shot Rides

Coconut Creek, FL • On-site

$22 - $35/hr

Full-time

Posted 26 days ago

Job description

Wrap installers who care about the last 5% are hard to find. If you're the kind who reworks a panel nobody else would have noticed, we built this job for you.

About us:
Big Shot Rides is a custom vehicle shop in Coconut Creek (Broward County) doing wraps, paint protection film, ceramic coating, and custom wheel work — daily drivers, exotics, and commercial fleets. We built this business on referrals and repeat clients, so quality isn't a slogan here, it's how we eat. We design and print in-house on a 63" Epson S80600 with a Graphtec plotter, so you're never waiting on a third-party print house.

About the role:
You own installs end to end: full color changes, commercial fleet wraps, partials, and print-and-cut decals — prep through final QC. You'll work directly with the owner, and our shop assistant handles the errands and vehicle staging so your hands stay on vinyl. Twelve months in, success looks like a bay you run yourself and customer vehicles leaving with edges nobody can find.

What you'll do:
  • Install full color-change and commercial wraps to a finish-line standard — complex curves, inlays, post-heating, the details that separate good from great.
  • Prep surfaces properly and QC your own work before it rolls out the door.
  • Handle print-and-cut decals and partial wraps off our in-house print setup.
  • Weigh in at the design stage on materials and installability.
  • Keep your bay, tools, and material inventory dialed.

What we're looking for?
Required:
  • 3+ years of vehicle wrap experience with a portfolio of your own installs — photos don't lie, and we'll ask for them.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record — you'll be trusted with customer vehicles.
  • Fluent English.

Nice to have:
  • Window tint experience.
  • PPF experience.
  • Mechanical knowledge — comfortable with trim, badge, and panel removal.
  • 3M or Avery Dennison installer certification.

Pay & schedule:
  • $22–$35/hour based on demonstrated skill — show us the portfolio, we'll talk honest numbers.
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays.
  • Raises follow skill here, not seniority — your work sets your number.

Straight talk:
We're a small crew with a reputation built entirely on referrals. Lifted corners and sloppy edges don't leave this shop, and rushed work gets redone. If you cut corners, this isn't your shop. If you take pride in installs that hold up in Florida heat and sun, you'll fit right in.

How to apply?
Email your portfolio (photos of your installs) and resume to suzy@bigshotrides.com with "Wrap Installer" in the subject line.
