Custom Truck Accessories in Reno is hiring a full-timeInstaller Technician to join our growing team. Our installers are the core of our business, delivering high-quality, professional installations of aftermarket parts and accessories. This role is hands-on in the shop, with a strong focus on precision, safety, and craftsmanship. We're looking for an experienced technician who takes pride in their work, thrives in a team environment, and contributes to a culture of professionalism and quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Professionally install a wide range of truck and RV aftermarket accessories, including shells, nerf bars, wheels/tires, suspension & lift kits, lighting, racks, bed liners, wiring, and performance parts

  • Follow proper procedures to ensure safe, clean, and consistent installations

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges quickly and effectively

  • Partner with sales staff to review work orders and ensure accuracy before starting jobs

  • Communicate clearly with team members to keep jobs on track and customers updated

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Support and uphold a positive shop culture of respect, teamwork, and pride in work

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly base pay equivalent to $55,000 - $65,000+ annually, depending on experience and performance

  • Efficiency bonus opportunities

  • Overtime available based on workload

  • Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as an aftermarket installer or in a related automotive role is required

  • Suspension experience preferred

  • Strong technical and mechanical skills with proven attention to detail

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to new products or situations

  • Must be reliable, professional, and a strong team player

  • Own a core set of automotive tools (company provides specialty tools as needed)

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required

  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.

Physical Demands:

Physical demands include, but are not limited to:

  • Able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods

  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds (parts, accessories, and equipment)

  • Must be able to safely operate and test drive customer vehicles

  • Exposure to weather, where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered.
