A-Line Staffing is Hiring Immunization Registered Nurses

A-Line Staffing Solutions is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to support a leading retail pharmacy chain with nationwide immunization programs. These are full-time, contract roles focused exclusively on administering vaccines in a retail pharmacy environment.

As an Immunizer with A-Line Staffing, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of various immunizations—including COVID-19, Flu, Rabies, Typhoid, and others depending on the state regulations. This is an onsite position at designated retail pharmacy location, with no required travel to nearby stores.

Perks of the position:

  • Seasonal contract assignment from September 8 - November 13th for the high-volume immunization season
  • Full-time (40) hours guaranteed per week at one location. No travelling or floating required.

Registered Immunizer Registered Nurse (RN) Pay Rate:

· $50.00 per hour (set rate)

Registered Immunizer Registered Nurse (RN) Schedule:

  • Set schedule - Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (40 hours/week)
  • No alternate schedule options available
  • No weekends
  • Please note: Due to the project’s short-term nature, no schedule accommodations or time off will be permitted for vacations, appointments, or secondary jobs.

Registered Immunizer Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements:

  • Active RN license in the state you’ll be working
  • Minimum of 6 months clinical experience
  • Active CPR or BLS Certification
  • Comfortable administering a variety of vaccines, including COVID and Flu
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly personality!

Registered Immunizer Registered Nurse (RN) Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience administering a high volume of Vaccines

Responsibilities:

· The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessment and administration of vaccinations of all patients assigned to them.

· Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.

· During times where there aren’t vaccine appointments scheduled: Proactively engages customers throughout the store to educate them on available vaccination services, assess interest, and offer immunization screenings in accordance with program guidelines.

· Demonstrates competency in patient care standards required for safe delivery of Immunizations. Will be competent in the assessment of patients via screening for immunizations complete and accurate clinical documentation.

· Manages time effectively and demonstrates basic leadership qualities in order to proactively deliver and manage appropriate patient care.

· Coordinates with Walgreens liaisons to arrive at the appropriate site for administration of vaccinations.

· Documents service provided in an acceptable time frame during or immediately after care is provided, leveraging the Vaccine Administration Record (VAR).

· Communicates changes in patient status to appropriate members of the staff to facilitate prompt attention to patient needs.

· Maximizes work efficiency through the use of computers and other technologies. Effectively uses available technology to communicate with Walgreens liaisons.

· Effectively coordinates with Walgreens liaisons during vaccination clinics.

· Participates in on-call responsibilities as assigned. Effectively communicates with agency staff, Walgreens liaisons, Long-Term Care Facility staff, patients, and families.

· Under the direction of the patient's consent, safely administers vaccines provided in a manner consistent with established standards of practice and policy.

· Promptly communicates with patient's physician and supervisor regarding problems, change in status, need for other team involvement, and goal attainment.

· Thoroughly reports patient's care needs, progress, and goals when transferring care to an alternate nurse.
