Job description

SMX is seeking an Information Security Analyst to provide Tier II/Tier III cybersecurity operations supporting a 24x7 Security Operations Center. The analyst performs continuous monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, RMF support, endpoint security monitoring, and cybersecurity compliance activities.
This is a full-time onsite position in Ft. Bragg, NC.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Monitor enterprise security events.
  • Investigate security incidents.
  • Perform threat analysis.
  • Execute vulnerability assessments.
  • Support RMF documentation.
  • Maintain endpoint security tools.
  • Review system compliance.
  • Support change management.
  • Coordinate with system administrators.
  • Produce incident documentation.

Required Skills, Experience & Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years cybersecurity experience.
  • Experience supporting SOC operations.
  • Experience with SIEM platforms.
  • Knowledge of RMF.
  • Security+ CE.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly.
