Description

Mandarich Law Group, LLP is a leading debt collection law firm with offices located in multiple states. We are currently recruiting a Paralegal for our Kansas City, MO office.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. This role is in-office, and the candidate must live in Kansas City metropolitan area for court appearances.  Base schedule is Monday through Friday with hours between 8AM to 5PM.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal team, including document preparation, filing, and general office tasks.
  • Manage and organize legal documents, ensuring compliance with regulations and confidentiality standards.
  • Manage Counterclaims in MO, drafting releases and dismissals, regular communication with creditors/debtors

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Legal Studies, or a related field (preferred).
  • Prior law firm experience - required
  • Basic knowledge of civil litigation
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and legal management software (i.e. JST preferred)
  • Must have Notary license or ability to obtain Notary license within 90 days of employment
