MFA stands for Master of Fine Arts, and these programs typically last two to three years, requiring students to attend classes and workshops on a full-time basis. Students work closely with faculty and peers to refine their craft, often culminating in a thesis or portfolio of original work. The program also provides opportunities for networking, teaching experience, and preparing for careers in writing, academia, or related fields.
