Overview

Admixture Clean Room Clerk

 

Willamette Valley Cancer Institute, Central Oregon’s largest privately owned cancer care and treatment center, is looking for an Admixture Clean Room Clerk to join their team at the Eugene and Springfield locations. Ideal for someone who is exploring the pharmacy and admixture career path, this position will support the admixture team with high-level cleaning of admixture rooms, clean offices, biological cabinets and laminar hoods. May also assist in the distribution of supplies that are needed daily to ensure the admixture department can continue providing the level of care our patients and community has come to expect. This position would have the potential to transition to an admixture technician after 1 year upon acquisition of Oregon pharmacy technician license and National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT). Tuition reimbursement available for pharmacy technician education program.

The general pay scale for this position at WVCI is $18.00 - $24.07. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, education, job/position responsibilities, location, work performance, internal equity, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Performs clinic support functions including stocking, cleaning, and ordering supplies.
  • Helps maintain a clean admixture and infusion environment.
  • Assist with intra-clinic transportation of materials, possibly including chemotherapy materials.
  • Courier supplies or medications to satellite clinics or collect materials from local medical facilities.
  • Other various projects and duties as needed by the pharmacy/admixture and infusion departments.

  • Ability to perform courier duties if needed to Corvallis, Albany, and/or coastal clinic sites.
  • Position is entry level and 1-3 years of cleaning experience in office or medical environment preferred.
