Job description

Registered Nurse/RN II - Emergency Full Time Evenings

Work location: Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032
Work hours: Full Time, 36 hours weekly, (3) 12-hour Evening shifts 1pm-1am, including weekends and holidays
Training: Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire
Emergency Department Highlights:
  • Engaged leadership that actively works to assist staff.

Here's What You Need
  • Nursing Diploma required or
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required or
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
  • 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • Emergency Department experience strongly preferred
  • Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire and
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 90 days of hire and
  • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course preferred upon hire
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
