About the Team
Enterprise Services & Public Affairs seeks to enhance and protect the reputation of Citi, its businesses and the brand through direct and indirect communication with Citi's various stakeholders, including our colleagues. The Global Communications team is a nimble team in Enterprise Services and Public Affairs that covers a broad scope of responsibilities, ranging from Executive communications and public engagements to quarterly earnings and corporate reputation programs as well as communications that support our lines of business. The nature of the work provides a dynamic environment where members of the team serve as company spokespeople to media, drive engagement with colleagues and develop external and internal digital communications for a global workforce of more than 200,000 colleagues. Within Citi, the team works with many internal partners, including senior leadership, and regularly coordinates closely with other members of the Enterprise Services & Public Affairs team across the world.

About the Role
This Assistant Vice President role is part of the Digital Reputation Management team within Communications and supports implementation of the team's AI visibility initiatives. This role will help monitor and assess how the firm is represented across AI-powered search platforms and identify opportunities to strengthen the firm's digital presence in evolving AI environments. This role will also help facilitate the adoption of AI best practices across the function.
This is not a deeply technical SEO or AI engineering role. We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, eager to learn, passionate about innovation, and excited to help shape how Communications evolves in an AI-driven environment.
The ideal candidate enjoys exploring new ideas, working across teams, solving problems, and helping colleagues successfully adopt new capabilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in monitoring how the firm is represented across AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews by using monitoring tools
  • Track the latest developments in AI-powered search, answer engines, GEO, and AEO best practices
  • Support AI visibility audits, benchmarking initiatives, and reporting efforts
  • Assist in identifying content opportunities that improve the firm's visibility and representation in AI-generated responses
  • Support digital reputation assessments and monitoring programs
  • Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and technology partners supporting AI visibility initiatives
  • Create AI training resources, playbooks, and educational materials
  • Help teams navigate new tools, workflows, and emerging capabilities
  • Assist with project management, stakeholder coordination, presentations, and reporting activities

Qualifications and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Business, Technology, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in communications, digital, marketing, consulting, product, change management, or related disciplines
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Claude, and similar platforms
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing environment with evolving priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience collaborating across multiple teams and stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and concepts
  • Experience creating presentations, executive summaries, and strategic recommendations

Preferred (Not Required)
  • Experience supporting digital transformation, innovation, or change management initiatives
  • Familiarity with content strategy, social media, analytics, search, or digital platforms
  • Experience developing training materials, governance documentation, or knowledge-management resources
