We're looking for a conceptual Art Director who believes powerful ideas come to life through smart design, sharp typography, and visual storytelling that connects. Someone who can turn strategy into distinctive creative, craft compelling campaign concepts, and bring a refined eye to every frame, post, and touchpoint.
In this role, you'll help define and elevate how our brand shows up across integrated campaigns, with a particular focus on broadcast, video, and social. You'll partner closely with writers, designers, strategists, stakeholders, and external agencies , staying hands-on from concept through execution while helping raise the overall level of creative craft.
You'll have real influence on the ideas, the craft, and how our brand shows up in the world, without the expectations of direct people management. This is a role for a hands-on conceptual art director who wants to make meaningful work, strengthen creative partnerships, and help elevate the designers and agencies around them.
This position follows a hybrid schedule in Minnetonka, MN office with four in-office days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop breakthrough visual concepts for integrated campaigns across broadcast, video, social, digital, print, and experiential
  • Bring solid design, typography, composition, and art direction craft to campaign ideas from first concept through final execution
  • Partner with copywriters, designers, strategists, and production teams to build ideas that are clear, compelling, and brand-right
  • Translate business goals, audience insights, and creative briefs into campaign concepts that work across channels
  • Present creative thinking clearly and confidently to stakeholders, explaining the idea, design rationale, and channel execution
  • Provide thoughtful direction and feedback to external agencies and production partners to strengthen concepts, design, and execution
  • Help mentor designers and creative partners by sharing feedback, modeling solid craft, and raising the quality of the work

Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of art direction and design experience in an agency, in-house, or hybrid creative environment
  • Proficiency with creative and business tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and related collaboration platforms
  • Demonstrated solid conceptual thinking with a proven ability to develop campaign ideas across broadcast, video, social, and integrated channels
  • Demonstrated clear, confident communication and the ability to manage multiple projects, partners, and rounds of feedback
  • Deep design and typography craft, with a refined eye for layout, composition, motion-friendly storytelling, and brand systems
  • A portfolio that shows bold ideas, solid visual storytelling, elevated design craft, and work that moves fluidly across channels

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
