Job description

Job Summary:

This role is focused on social media copy and email and newsletter content, writing work that is on brand, clear, and built to perform. You will work closely with our broader marketing team across social, design, and email to bring campaigns to life across channels. This is a hands-on role with real output and real visibility.

Intern Logistics:

  • Location: Onsite/Remote/Hybrid - Where if onsite?

  • Hours: Prefer full-time will work with school schedule

  • Internship Expected Start Date:Summer(June 2026)

Duties/Responsibilities:

Social Media Copywriting

  • Write and edit copy for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms, calibrating tone and length to each channel

  • Collaborate with the creative team on content calendar execution, ensuring copy aligns with visual direction and campaign goals

  • Draft caption variations for A/B testing and adapt evergreen content for seasonal or timely moments

  • Maintain brand voice consistency across all social content, balancing accessibility with credibility

Email and Newsletter Content

  • Write copy for marketing emails including partner newsletters, customer communications, and promotional campaigns

  • Support the email and automation team in drafting content for HubSpot email workflows, ensuring messaging aligns with audience segments and journey stage

  • Proofread and edit email content for clarity, tone, grammar, and compliance with brand standards

  • Help maintain a library of modular email content blocks that can be reused and adapted across campaigns

Content Support and Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Attend marketing team syncs and contribute to content ideation and campaign brainstorms

  • Help maintain a shared content calendar and keep asset documentation organized and current

  • Support the team with light research tasks to inform content strategy and messaging development

  • Flag opportunities to repurpose existing content across channels with minimal lift


Skills/Abilities:

  • Familiarity with HubSpot or another email marketing platform

  • Experience writing email copy or newsletter content in a professional or internship setting

  • Basic understanding of content performance metrics and what good engagement looks like

  • A portfolio or writing samples that demonstrate range across formats and audiences

Education and Experience:

  • Currently enrolled as a junior, or senior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Advertising, or a related field

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a sharp eye for brand voice and tone

  • Experience writing for social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stay organized in a remote work environment

  • Comfortable working across teams and communicating proactively with both peers and leadership

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
