Job description

We are a growing intermodal trucking company operating an ocean container storage depot in St. Paul, MN. We are looking for a dependable, hard-working Yard Coordinator / Lift Operator to help with the day-to-day operations of our container yard.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and keeping operations organized and moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily container yard operations, including container organization, stacking, and inventory tracking
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound container movements
  • Inspect chassis, trucks, and equipment to ensure safety and compliance standards are met
  • Operate forklifts, container lifts, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment
  • Communicate with drivers, dispatch, and customers to keep freight flowing smoothly
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions — this is Minnesota, after all

What We’re Looking For

We need someone who is dependable, self-motivated, and not afraid to get their hands dirty. You do not need years of intermodal experience to succeed here — we are willing to train the right person on our equipment and processes — but you must bring:

  • Strong work ethic
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Commitment to safety

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 22 years old
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Class A CDL preferred, but not required
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
  • No DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions within the past 3 years
  • No more than 2 chargeable/preventable accidents within the past 3 years
  • Prior experience operating heavy equipment (forklifts, container handlers, reach stackers, loaders, etc.) strongly preferred
  • Ability to lift, climb, and work safely in an outdoor industrial environment

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Training and equipment certification opportunities
  • Stable, year-round work
  • Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding operation
  • Full-time position with overtime opportunities available

If you are looking for a career in the transportation and logistics industry and want to be part of a team that values hard work and reliability, we’d like to talk with you.
