Thomas & Hutton has an opening for a motivated and driven full-time Construction Administrator to work in Savannah, GA for our Infrastructure Construction team. 

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders.
  • Review and process submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and other project-related documents.
  • Maintain accurate records of project correspondence, meetings, and approvals.
  • Assist in the preparation of project progress reports and financial documentation.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with project requirements, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and quality.
  • Act as a liaison between the project team, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve construction-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Review and approve contractor work plans and schedules
  • Document and report on-site observations, deviations, and corrective actions.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among project stakeholders.
  • Attend project meetings and provide updates on construction activities.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project success.
  • Address inquiries and concerns from clients, regulatory agencies, and other parties involved in the project.
  • Assist with project closeout activities. 
Typical Duties
  • Organize and maintain project files and records.
  • Track project schedules and milestones.
  • Assist in the preparation of bid packages and contract documents.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses.
  • Coordinate meetings and communications with project stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections and document observations.
  • Verify compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Address field issues and facilitate resolutions.
  • Coordinate inspections by regulatory agencies.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to contractors and subcontractors.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate responses to requests for information.
  • Mediate disputes and conflicts among project participants.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients and project team members
Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years of environmental construction administration/management experience
  • Valid driver's license
Education
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field or equivalent experience will be considered.

  • Familiarity with environmental construction contracts and specifications.
