  • Verify compliance with FCC safety programs, OSHA standards, and site-specific requirements.
  • Serve as FCC field's primary resource for interpreting and enforcing safety policy.
  • Partner with Field Managers and Project Managers to integrate safety into daily operations, project schedules, and preconstruction planning.
Incident Prevention, Response, & Investigation
  • Lead investigations for all recordable incidents, near misses, and first aids; determine root causes and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to the Director of Safety, General Superintendent, and COO.
  • Coordinate follow-up reviews to verify effectiveness of corrective measures.
  • Participate in trend analysis and contribute to FCC's risk mitigation initiatives.
Training, Communication, & Engagement
  • Lead orientations, toolbox talks, and targeted field training sessions.
  • Coach project leadership on proactive safety management and communication.
  • Promote engagement through field presence, one-on-one coaching, and open feedback.
  • Support FCC's safety recognition programs and team-wide safety campaigns.
Program & Data Management
  • Implement FCC's core safety programs and update site-specific safety plans (SSSPs).
  • Use FCC's technology platforms to track safety metrics, inspections, and training completion.
  • Analyze leading and lagging indicators to identify trends and develop action plans.
  • Maintain all required safety documentation, reports, and regulatory records.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Mentor emerging safety and operations professionals through consistent coaching and field feedback.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure that excellence in project execution and safety goals are aligned.
