Plumbing Project Manager

Full-Time | External
Location: Inland Empire

Position Overview

We’re working with a rapidly expanding residential builder and mechanical contractor looking to bring on a Plumbing Project Manager to support growing construction volume. This role oversees plumbing work for new construction and renovation projects, including multifamily communities, production housing, and select commercial builds.

The ideal candidate is confident managing plumbing systems from layout through final inspection, can keep multiple projects moving at once, and works effectively alongside field leadership, trade partners, and internal teams.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Manage plumbing scopes from early planning stages through project completion

  • Coordinate daily communication across field crews, subcontractors, inspectors, and internal stakeholders

  • Evaluate plans, specifications, and submittals to confirm scope clarity and buildability

  • Plan material releases, monitor equipment lead times, and prevent schedule disruptions

  • Align labor, subcontractors, and site activities to maintain production targets

  • Maintain job cost visibility, including forecasting, change management, and financial updates

  • Perform routine site visits to monitor workmanship, safety, and code compliance

  • Schedule and support inspections, testing, and closeout documentation

  • Assist preconstruction efforts with pricing input, bid reviews, and scope validation

Background & Qualifications
  • 4+ years managing plumbing construction on residential (multifamily or high-volume single-family) and/or light commercial projects

  • Solid working knowledge of plumbing systems, UPC requirements, and inspection processes

  • Proven experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects, typically ranging from up to $10M+

  • Comfortable splitting time between job sites and the office in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and standard construction management tools
