Allied Universal is seeking Security Professional - Full Time Data Center  in Mississauga, ON.  

Job Title: Security Professional - Full Time Data Center

Location: Mississauga, ON

Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.21 per hour

Shifts: Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat | 07:00 to 19:00 / 19:00 to 07:00 | Continental Rotational

Required: 10 Year residency in Canada for site clearance.

Overview:

We are seeking experienced Security Professional - Full Time Data Center to support a critical operations environment in Mississauga, ON. This role involves responding to service calls and acting as a first responder during security and lifesafety incidents. Candidates must demonstrate sound decisionmaking in highrisk environments and possess strong computer and administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and security management systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Access Control: Provide access control where applicable, to include managing access for contractors and delivery personnel.
  • Patrols: Conduct general as well as focused patrols (interior and exterior) looking for hazards, building deficiencies, insecure premises, criminal or prohibited activity, suspicious people, suspicious activities, items, or vehicles.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to a varied array of "calls for service" as well as provide first responder services for all security and life safety emergencies and incidents.
  • Incident Reporting: Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured for future reference and analysis.
  • Professional Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to security across all operations.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.
  • Monitoring and Surveillance: Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems to detect and prevent security breaches.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-2 years of experience working in Mobile Security
  • Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
  • Must have strong computer and administrative skills
  • Must be 25 years old or above for insurance purposes
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.
  • Must have resided in Canada for a minimum of 10 years to pass the required clearances to work on site.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
  • First Aid and CPR
