Job description

Help X-ES meet the thermal and structural challenges of producing embedded computing products that operate in rugged environments-including for industrial, military, and aerospace customers. Gain real-world experience in product design by creating 3D models and 2D drawings while supporting design verification efforts through experimental testing, simulation, and data analysis.
This position is full-time and in-person at our Verona, WI facility from May - December 2027 for a Summer/Fall Co-Op. A co-op typically requires students to take a semester off of school to accommodate.
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Prior experience using 3D CAD tools such as Creo, Solidworks, or NX is preferred
  • Completion of or current enrollment in Heat Transfer coursework is a plus
  • Prior experience utilizing Python scripts for data analysis is a plus
  • Prior experience with mechanical testing or microscopy is a plus
