Overview

We can teach technology. We're looking for someone who loves helping people.

As a IT Support Technician, you'll be the friendly face of IT support for employees across our Madison-area facilities and our Poynette facility. You'll help coworkers solve everyday technology issues, set up computers and devices, and ensure they have the tools they need to be successful in their positions. 

Just a few reasons to apply:

  • Not just sitting behind a desk--Your role will cover several locations--our downtown Madison building, Ingersoll Street building, Westport building (10 minutes from our Madison building), our Sun Prairie facility, and our Poynette facility (about 25 minutes from our downtown location).

  • Experienced IT manager with long tenure who will grow your technical abilities 

Responsibilities
 
  • Be the first point of contact for employees needing IT support across our office and manufacturing locations.
  • Troubleshoot common technology issues including laptops, Windows devices, monitors, printers, scanners, docks, and other workplace technology.
  • Respond to and document support requests through our service desk system, ensuring employees receive timely updates and solutions.
  • Set up, deploy, refresh, and replace computers and other devices for new and existing employees.
  • Assist with password resets, account access issues, and basic multi-factor authentication (MFA) support.
  • Support conference rooms, shared spaces, and mobile devices used throughout our facilities.
  • Track technology assets and help ensure equipment is organized, maintained, and ready for use.
  • Partner with senior IT team members by resolving everyday issues and escalating more complex problems when needed.
  • Travel between Madison-area locations as needed to provide hands-on support.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in; Windows Server, Windows 11 enterprise environments, Microsoft 365 and hybrid identity
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems, think critically, and learn new technologies.
  • Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, administrative support, or technical support roles.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between Madison-area locations.
  • Bonus points: Certifications in VMware, Nutanix, Cisco, Microsoft, ITIL, Computer TIA A+.
