Description
Ideal Candidate:
A collaborative team player with a strong hospitality mindset and dedication to customer service. Must possess a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure the integrity of gambling, count room, and cash handling procedures
  • Patrol the casino and adjacent areas for suspicious or illegal activities
  • Handle, count, and verify gaming chips in multiple denominations
  • Ensure all guest and company vehicles are parked properly and in designated locations
  • Prepare and maintain essential paperwork and reports
  • Accept found property and tag it for safekeeping
  • Assist with locating lost property and file reports when items are not found
  • Perform computer data entry of required information
  • Conduct property inspection tours
  • Report all gaming regulation violations to appropriate departments and agencies
  • Report violations of internal controls, company policies, and departmental procedures
  • Escort guests to their vehicles when requested
  • Transport drop boxes to the count area
  • Transport guests using company vehicles as necessary
  • Identify and report potential safety hazards to a supervisor
  • Respond quickly to and handle situations involving difficult guests or employees
  • Contact local law enforcement, fire department, or emergency personnel in cases of medical emergencies
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements

Education and/or Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in casino security or a related security field preferred
  • Experience in law enforcement or armed forces preferred
Special Qualifications
  • Strong observation skills with the ability to remain attentive at all times
  • Ability to assess, control, and defuse difficult situations quickly
  • Ability to recognize and address potential conflicts before escalation
  • Thorough knowledge of security officer practices and procedures
  • Working knowledge of New Hampshire Revised Statutes, including laws governing citizen's arrest
  • Knowledge of security equipment operation
Age Requirement
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
  • Ability to understand written documents and diagrams
  • Ability to respond effectively to inquiries, complaints, and emergencies
