Licensed Electrician – Solar & Electrical

Job Description

Unity Solar Group is seeking a dependable and experienced Licensed Electrician to support our residential and commercial solar and electrical projects.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical experience, is comfortable completing work independently, and has experience with solar AC-side electrical work, service upgrades, and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical upgrades in accordance with approved plans and applicable electrical codes.
• Perform solar AC-side electrical work, including wiring, disconnects, breakers, panels, and system interconnections.
• Complete service panel upgrades and other required electrical modifications.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, back-office staff, installation crews, inspectors, and utility representatives.
• Review project requirements and ensure electrical work is completed correctly and efficiently.
• Ensure all work is performed safely, professionally, and in compliance with local and national electrical codes.
• Assist with inspection corrections and electrical troubleshooting when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation and photos of completed work.
• Travel to multiple project locations as assigned.
• Battery Installation

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid electrician’s license.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety requirements.
• Ability to independently complete electrical upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Experience with service panel upgrades and electrical modifications.
• Previous solar experience preferred.
• Solar AC electrical experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Dependable, professional, organized, and able to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with project teams, inspectors, customers, and utility representatives.

Compensation & Benefits

• $35.00–$45.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
