Reports To: Principal

Granger Christian School is seeking a dedicated, passionate Christian Educator to teach Secondary History, Grades 6-12. The ideal candidate will foster a love for our nation’s history while guiding students to understand our past, present, and future, through a biblical worldview. This role requires a commitment to academic excellence, spiritual formation, and the development of the whole student intellectually, socially, and physically.

Spiritual Leadership and Qualifications

  • Must hold a personal, active faith in Jesus Christ, consistent with the school’s Statement of Faith/Mission.
  • Consistently model Christ-like character in speech, actions, and attitude towards students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to Christian education and a passion for teaching in a faith-based environment.
  • Active member/regular attendee of a Bible-believing church.

Key Responsibilities

  • Intentionally integrate biblical principles into all content taught.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, rigorous lessons using hands-on activities, lectures, group work, and projects.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and encouraging classroom environment that facilitates learning and models stewardship.
  • Assess student progress regularly using diverse methods (projects, tests, written work) to provide constructive, timely feedback.
  • Partner with parents through regular communication regarding student academic and spiritual growth.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements
