Chiropractic Assistant – Full-Time

Hampstead Chiropractic is looking for a full-time Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, positive, and takes genuine ownership of their responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities

This is a versatile position that may include responsibilities throughout the practice, including:

Front Desk & Patient Experience

• Greeting patients and creating a welcoming office environment
• Answering phones, texts, and patient questions
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Managing patient flow throughout the office
• Collecting payments and maintaining accurate patient information
• Following up with cancellations, no-shows, and patients needing to reschedule

Patient Therapies

• Assisting patients with doctor-prescribed therapies
• Setting patients up on therapy equipment
• Maintaining clean, organized, and prepared treatment areas
• Helping ensure patients move efficiently through their visits
• Learning our different therapies and confidently explaining their purpose to patients

New Patient Case Management

• Helping guide new patients through their first visits
• Conducting or assisting with new patient consultations and intake
• Helping patients understand the recommended care process
• Communicating treatment plans, scheduling requirements, and financial options
• Following up with prospective and pending patients
• Building relationships with patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their care

Insurance & Accounts Receivable

• Verifying insurance benefits
• Assisting with insurance claims and patient account questions
• Following up on outstanding insurance claims
• Working patient accounts and outstanding balances
• Assisting with A/R and collections
• Communicating with insurance companies when necessary
• Maintaining accurate documentation and account notes

Experience

Previous experience in chiropractic, healthcare, medical front desk, insurance, billing, sales, or patient care is helpful but not required for the right person.

We are willing to train someone who has the right attitude, work ethic, communication skills, and desire to grow.

Position Details

• Full-time position
• In-person at Hampstead Chiropractic in Hampstead, NC
• Monday–Friday
• No weekends
• Training provided
