About the Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Technical Program Consultant III to provide operational leadership and mission support for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security (OUSD(I&S)).

This highly visible position is responsible for leading day-to-day mission support operations while ensuring the successful management of facilities, secure communications, logistics, financial planning, records management, enterprise tasking, and mission support activities across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE).

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to senior government leadership while coordinating mission support activities across the Pentagon, National Capital Region, and other Defense Intelligence Enterprise organizations.

Key ResponsibilitiesMission Operations Leadership
  • Lead day-to-day Mission Support Operations supporting OUSD(I&S) and the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE).
  • Coordinate mission support activities across multiple Defense Agencies and DoD organizations.
  • Develop operational strategies supporting mission readiness and organizational objectives.
  • Provide recommendations to senior leadership regarding mission support operations and enterprise initiatives.
Program & Business Operations
  • Manage enterprise mission support operations.
  • Develop organizational goals, objectives, and operational guidance.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams supporting multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Monitor organizational performance and recommend continuous process improvements.
Facilities & SCIF Management
  • Manage office space planning throughout the Pentagon and National Capital Region.
  • Coordinate office moves, renovations, and workspace utilization.
  • Oversee Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).
  • Support Residential SCIFs and Executive Travel Kits.
  • Ensure compliance with physical security and accreditation requirements.
Financial & Resource Management
  • Develop annual Mission Support spend plans.
  • Track infrastructure and IT expenditures.
  • Conduct budget forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Monitor invoices, funding, and reconciliation activities.
  • Support acquisition planning and procurement packages.
Technology & Enterprise Support
  • Improve technology utilization across the enterprise.
  • Conduct market research supporting procurement.
  • Coordinate hardware, software, licensing, and service acquisitions.
  • Develop operational procedures supporting enterprise technology initiatives.
Records & Task Management
  • Administer the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS).
  • Supervise enterprise records management activities.
  • Ensure timely completion of executive taskings.
  • Maintain compliance with Federal records management requirements.
Executive Support
  • Prepare executive reports and operational briefings.
  • Develop statistical analyses supporting executive decision-making.
  • Coordinate directly with senior government leadership.
  • Provide operational recommendations supporting mission execution.
