CASHIER

Duties:

-Provides fast and friendly check out services for customers.

-Assists customers with questions about store

-Scans and/or weighs products during the checkout process

-Handles cash and other forms of payment properly

-Maintains a neat and clean work area

-Restocks register supplies

-Performs “go-backs” of returned or abandoned merchandise

-Bags groceries when necessary or assists Courtesy Clerk in doing so

-Other duties as assigned

Abilities:

Good customer service skills. Able to read, write and perform basic math problems (counting, addition, subtraction).

Physical Requirements: Able to lift 25 lbs, work includes standing, reaching, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting and kneeling.
