Position Overview

SCP Health is seeking a dedicated Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Jackson Health System - Jackson North Medical Center - HM. Join us to grow your career, make a meaningful impact, and deliver high-quality care in the communities you serve.


  • Daily Census: 180
  • Admissions and cross coverage
  • 7on/7off schedule Tuesday-Monday 7p-7a
  • Number of Beds: 212 HM Beds
  • EMR: Cerner
  • ICU: Closed ICU, 36 beds total intensivists onsite - 12 beds managed by HM team


Qualifications

  • Education: Must have acute care certification
  • Licensure: Florida Medical License and DEA
  • Skills & Procedures: ACLS and BLS required
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience

Facility Information: Jackson North Medical Center is a 382-bed acute care center that serves the residents of north Miami-Dade and south Broward counties. The hospital offers a variety of services, including 24-hour adult and pediatric emergency care, cardiac care, maternity care, orthopedics, surgery, and inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. Jackson North Medical Center was nationally recognized for achievement in the Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite Campaign. Has had over $125 Million dollars in updates/renovations.
