Job description

The Providence Heart Institute in Oregon is seeking a full-time Cardiology nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join the team at the Providence Hood River Heart Clinic. Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital has 25 beds with an active medical staff of more than 160 providers. A full complement of non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing is available on-site. The Cardiology practice in Hood River includes an experienced cardiologist and support staff. This is a unique opportunity to practice in a community with unparalleled access to outdoor recreation and natural beauty, while being connected to a world class Heart Institute.
  • Full-time position, 1.0 FTE
  • Open to nurse practitioners and physician assistants/associates
  • Outpatient care only; no call requirement
  • 1 to 3 years of Cardiology experience preferred

The Providence Heart Institute is an integrated cardiovascular service line with more than 80 specialists serving hospital and clinic locations throughout Oregon and southwest Washington. In addition, the program is a hub for vast data registries in cardiovascular care, including the Center for Cardiovascular Analytics, Research and Data Science (CARDS). This state-of-the-art institute is a leader in new therapies, and consistently receives national recognition, including the American Heart Association's "Get With The Guidelines" designation for coronary artery disease care.
