Job description

Ascension Medical Group Heart Rhythm Institute is seeking a full-time Cardiology Electrophysiologist to join our established and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive electrophysiology services to patients in Roseville and St. Clair Shores, Michigan.

As part of our team, youll work collaboratively with an experienced EP Cardiologist, an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, and skilled support staff.

Position Highlights

  • Schedule:
    • Office Hours: MondayFriday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
    • Call: Shared with the other EP physician in the practice.
  • Built-In Volume:
    • Established referral patterns and opportunities to grow your patient panel.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with Cardiologists, Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgeons, and other healthcare professionals for seamless care coordination.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Inpatient Rounding:
    • Rounding at Henry Ford St. John Hospital, Henry Ford Warren Hospital, and one nearby hospital during call weeks.
    • APPs independently round at Henry Ford St. John Hospital.
  • Procedures:
    • Device implants: Pacemakers and defibrillators.
    • Ablations: Right and left-sided ablations.
