Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some evenings & weekends required


Job Summary: The Resident Services Coordinator develops, implements, and maintains a monthly life enrichment calendar that reflects the interests, abilities, and assessed needs for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents under the guidance of the Assistant Director. Plans daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal activities, special events, and outings. Modifies programs and activities based on resident participation, cognitive abilities, physical limitations, and changing care needs. Assists with developing partnerships with groups and organizations to expand programming opportunities. Recruits and oversees volunteers participating in resident programming. Participates in care plan meetings and provides recommendations regarding activity participation and interventions. Provides ongoing education and coaching to staff regarding meaningful resident engagement, person-centered programming, and dementia-specific activity approaches. Serves as the departmental resource for LifeLoop.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher. Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.


Skills and Knowledge: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.


Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Assisted Living and Specialty Care Assisted Living residents.
